WORK AND OTHER PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Studio Assistant, (May 2005 - May 2006 ), Ceramics Studio, Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg. Prof. Joyce Jablonski.
        Responsiblities included loading and unloading and firing of electirc and narural gas kilns (cone 06 bisque to cone 10 reduction and raku firings as well), mixing clay with Soldner clay mixer, mixing bulk glazes to 5gal batches, and assisting students in the studio.
Also responsible for general studio maintenance including electrical wiring of ceramic kilns, building gallery walls, and janitorial and organizational duties.

Studio Assistant, ( May 31 - July 29, 2005), Creative Craft Studio (Papermaking), Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg.    
        Prof. John Haydu.  Responsibilities included operating the Hollander beater to prepare pulp in 15gal batches, measuring chemicals (such as calcium carbonate) and additives (such as methyl cellullose) to prepare paper pulps, and assisting in maintenance and cleanliness of the papermaking studio (preparing materials, cleaning - preperation of materials before and after classes).
